Sherif graduated from Cairo University in 2008, his passion in dentistry led him to immediately start speciality training in Restorative Dentistry and has been successfully awarded Membership in Restorative Dentistry with emphasis on Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Sherif’s qualifications are BDS (Cairo), Membership of Joint Dental Faculties of The Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCSEng), Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCSEd) and Membership in Restorative Dentistry (Prosthodontics) of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (M Pros RCSEd).

Worked as a Restorative Dentist at state of the art dental centres in Egypt, which gave him a proper acquaintance and experience in treating complex cosmetic and restorative cases and as a Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry supervising postgraduate student in Restorative Dentistry speciality program before moving to the UK to work as an Associate dentist and a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Restorative Dentistry.

His special interest areas include fixed and removable prosthodontics, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

• Founder and president of Dr.Abdelrahman Tawfik Learning Center.

Aims and Objectives:
Each candidate will understand:
• Case selection and Treatment Planning.
• Ceramics classification
• The importance of wax up / mock up
• Principles of tooth preparation.
• When to use an articulator?
• Prep steps
• Vertical Vs Horizontal.
• Immediate dentin sealing
• Deep margin elevation
• Soft tissue management including retraction cords use
• Impression Materials and Techniques
• Provisional Restorations Techniques
• Cementation protocols (rubber dam or retraction cords?)

Learning Outcome:
Each candidate will be able to return to clinic with confidence and passion to start doing Veneers, Crowns and Onlays from case selection till cementation (A to Z).
